Yep, a fair test. Shows that the natural competitor to the F650GS is the TA.

The KTM v the XT would make a better pairing. MCN did a KTM v XT v CCM some time back.

The Strom is out on its own and has no direct competitor, unless it is aimed at the Capo, Navigator and its big brother.

Approximate figures don't mean a lot. When the XT came out they estimated 112mph for it --- yeah! In their dreams!

W..ell they are both 20bhp up on the Strom and a lot quicker.
Funnily enough, when I think about it, the V Strom's nearest competitor is probably the Deauville :o
