I sure hope all the rumors are true about BUELL making this type of bike. At least it would be one bike the USA would get! :ljl:

That's a very compact and good looking bike. Those forks and rear shocks don't look beefy enough to me though.

It appears to be just a one-off, but BUELL has been reported to be building up something. I say the more the better :)

Item-Harley and KTM were rumored to be in the process of "talks", which apparently broke down when both sides discovered that the other side were as egotistical a band of twats as they were.
Item-it's not as if there has never been a Vtwin DS bike, eh?
Now as to whether something like this would ever see the light of day, from Buell I just don't see it happening. If I had a spare tube frame Buell, I'd think about doing it though, lower the gearing, build it remarkably similar to the Buell shown, and I would stack it against a GS any day. Then hang a set of hard bags off it, a windshield and it's off to the Dalton or the Denali.
Did I mention that I plan to do the Denali Highway this summer? I can do it in a day from my house, leave right after an early breakfast, left at Glenallen, left at Paxson, Left at cantwell and home in time for a late dinner. Yeah it sucks to live here dontit?

BTW if it were mine I'd lose the shoebox long before I built a guard for it. ;)

Very nice bike. BUT is it really serie production, or just some ingenious dude has put HD engine on enduro frame?

The engine and frame are Buell items, the forks and swimgarm are different. The air cleaner assembly (the "shoebox") is from the later tube-frame Buells, and is an ingenous device to lower intake noise without restricting air flow, it's ugly but it works. It also appears that the drive belt has been swapped for a regular chain. If I had a cheap Buell I'd like to try the same thing
The forks (according to the blurb in french on the infothing) are from a motoguzzi NTX. The frame is modified & 2 gas shocks fitted to the swingarm.

Too bad... those NTX bikes are sweet by themselves :ys:

In Yoorup, those NTX Guzzis are a dime a dozen, they cut them up in little chunks all the time, don't they? :yen:
