I'd have tried some SeaFoam in the gas before opening it up.

Exhaust port is clean, yup sea foam to the rescue no doubt :unsure:

Caution:

I ain't no expurt.

But kickback is usually caused by preignition. The spark happens before it should. Either the sparkumificator is not timing properly, or something is heating up before the sparkplug can fire. One possible variation is something incompressible is in the bore-- like water.

Got it to start, a broken on off switch rears its ugly head so you were right

it was an ignition problem plus the fact

i forgot its 100ccs of no compression release goodness,

took a manly pull so i had to practice for awhile.

A 100 cc Husky chainsaw is no toy. I could put that little beast in the old Hodaka Ace frame sitting in my shed and have a fast bike, probably faster than it originally was.

A childhood friend had a gocart with twin McCollogh(sp) chain saw motors.. It would go fast enough that the front wheels would leave the ground. I don't know how that was tho... :JC-thinking:
