Hi all
My name Cuffer and I'm a member of Blood Bike Wales.
We all know that the biking community is very good at raising money and awareness of charities around our local areas.

I would like to make you aware of a new charity that is launching tomorrow at the Aberdare Races. We are called Blood Bike Wales and we will eventually be covering the whole of Wales with out of hours transportation to hospitals, labs and other medical facilities of blood, plasma, files, equipment, organs, breastmilk and other vitally important supplies that would otherwise have to use ambulances. police or expensive taxi or courier services to deliver.

The Devon and Somerset organisation that does the same job as us saved the NHS in their area £150,000 in one year alone!

We have just started in South Wales and our membership is 100+ already, we are looking for members that would like to contribute some time, effort, knowledge and experience into fundraising and riding. I've been with the group around two months and it's a really good feeling of accomplishment when you see the reaction, interest and enthusiasm of people you introduce to the idea of the Blood Bikes.

If you're up the races this weekend PLEASE come to our stand and say hello.

We have a page on facebook page http://www.facebook....bloodbikeswales
Or you can see our web page at http://www.bloodbikeswales.org.uk/

Many thanks for taking the time to read this and many thanks to Renegade for allowing me to post on your site!

Safe riding

Cuffer

(Andy Cox)

Nice one Andy.
Lets hope you get all the support you need. :drinks1:

I have met Andy and he is a genuine guy, so if any of our members are at Aberdare this weekend, drop by there and say hello.

Hi Guys, Just to keep you updated on our progress.

We've raised enough money to purchase 3 pan european ST1100's and a deauvile 700 so our start date to work with the hospitals is March 2nd.
If you see one of our riders on the road give us a flash or toot, we're working a 12hr shift so a friendly wave etc will do wonders for us :bgg:

Regards

Cuffer
